1. Nature of the Service

What we are

A pure front-end open-source project providing a casual card-collection game for the Paxi blockchain. All code and static assets are public in this repository. It is deployed as Cloudflare Workers (static assets + an edge Worker script) with no application backend, no user database, and no collection of personally identifiable information.

What we are not

This Service is not, and must not be understood as:

• a wallet, exchange, broker, dealer, bank, fund, or any financial product;
• a custodian, sponsor, clearing house, payment channel, or settlement institution;
• a matching platform, exchange, or secondary market (the platform matches no asset trades and sets no price);
• a gambling platform, casino, betting venue, or lottery-with-payout platform;
• an investment adviser, financial adviser, or provider of investment advice.

You control your assets (non-custodial)

• Your private key never leaves your device. Transactions are constructed and signed entirely inside your wallet or browser. The Service does not receive, store, transmit or back up any private key, mnemonic or signature.
• The Session Key is a one-time key pair generated locally in your browser for seamless signing of game actions. Its private key is encrypted with AES-GCM + PBKDF2 and stored only in your device's localStorage; the unlock passphrase is never written to disk, never sent on-chain, and never transmitted to any server. The session key authorises game actions only, cannot move your assets, and is bound by a daily cap, nonce replay protection and address binding — revocable with one click.
• The Service cannot move, freeze, seize or access any of your assets. If you lose your private key or session key and assets become inaccessible, the Service can neither recover nor promise to recover them.

Fees

The Service charges no service fee, no platform cut and no transaction fee. PAXI you spend in-game goes directly and in full to your own account or the game contract on the Paxi blockchain — there is no intermediary. The item name and price are displayed for your confirmation before you sign.

2. Gameplay & Economics

Free channels (daily limits, in-game assets only)

Paid channels (fixed price, deterministic delivery, no randomness)

Attributes of in-game assets (fragments / cards / skins)

• Never redeemable for tokens (no on-chain path back to PAXI or any other token)
• Not cashable (no withdrawal channel)
• Not realisable on-chain (no secondary market, no liquidity, no redemption venue)
• Never generate any token income (game output is never a token)
• The only possible movement is the in-game Gift feature: subject to on-chain hard gates (account age ≥30 days, relationship ≥30 days, asset holding period ≥30 days / 7 days for legendary, ≤3 sent and ≤5 received per day, ≤30 fragments per gift), assets may be transferred to another eligible player without any consideration. The platform takes no cut, matches no parties, sets no price for such transfers, and provides no cash-out venue.

No buyback, no dividend, no pool, no return promise

The Service does not promise, imply or guarantee any buyback, buyback price, dividend, staking yield, holding return, token appreciation or return of any kind. The Service contains no prize pool, no bankroll, no house mechanism and no wagering arrangement of any kind.

3. Removed Modes

The following modes involved token wagering, random settlement or gambling structures and conflicted with this Service's compliance position. They were removed from the front end on 2026-10-10, and the corresponding front-end engine code was deleted outright on 2026-10-27 — not hidden, not a disabled switch, but removed from the distributed artefacts:

These modes are neither visible, nor callable, nor present in any file distributed with the site in this version.

4. Risk Disclosure

Blockchain & smart contract risk

• Smart contracts are deterministic code, not a legal person, and may contain defects or edge cases causing unintended behaviour.
• Once a transaction is broadcast and confirmed, it is generally irreversible and non-refundable.
• Contract upgrades, governance changes or forks may change game behaviour.
• An audit is not a guarantee. The project has been code-reviewed, but that does not constitute a promise of absolute security.

Token price risk

• PAXI is a market-priced crypto asset and its price may fall sharply or even go to zero.
• The market value of the PAXI you spend may be lower than what you paid for the in-game item.
• The Service provides no price prediction, investment analysis or token valuation.

Your own risk

You are solely responsible for your wallet keys, mnemonic, account security and all actions. The Service accepts no liability and cannot assist recovery for losses caused by wallet compromise, device loss, user error, malware or social engineering.

Network & technical risk

The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (Cloudflare's edge, Paxi chain nodes, your browser runtime), which may fail, lag or misbehave. On-chain interactions are affected by congestion, fee volatility and node state.

No availability guarantee

The Service is provided "AS IS" with no commitment to continuous availability, feature roadmap, or SLA.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or non-interference.

For any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service — including loss from user error, wallet compromise, network failure, smart-contract defects, token price volatility or geographic restrictions — the developers and operators shall not be liable.

8. Privacy & Data

• The Service is pure front-end with no application backend and no user database.
• It collects no names, emails, phone numbers, identity documents or precise location.
• Local storage (localStorage) holds only functional data — encrypted session key, language preference, daily draw counter, custom token addresses — and stays on your device.
• The only outbound requests are reads of on-chain data from Paxi mainnet nodes and transactions broadcast by your own wallet.
• Your communications with Paxi nodes are subject to the logging policies of Cloudflare and Paxi infrastructure; the Service itself maintains no user behaviour logs.

This is an open-source technical demonstration and public-goods project. It is not affiliated with any commercial entity and does not issue tokens, trade tokens, or manage assets of any kind. The contract is deployed on Paxi mainnet and its source can be reviewed in the contract/ directory of this repository. Technical questions and compliance feedback can be raised through the public repository issue tracker.

10. Changes to These Terms

These terms may change as the product or the regulatory environment does. Updated versions take effect when published and the "Last updated" date at the top of this page is kept in sync. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
